Having a 3D printer can be quite useful in an apartment. This blog post shows a collection of things I designed and printed for various purposes. Since these are custom designed to fit my use cases I don’t share the printing files here. Ping me if you are interested in getting them.
- Coffee spoon mount
- Laundry basket mount
- Docking station Air Pod Pro
- Amplifier mount
- Cutting board grip
Coffee spoon mount
We bought a new coffee spoon and needed a place for it. I figured the best place would be next to the coffee grinder where its needed most of the time. I designed the mount to fit the spoon and glued it to the coffee grinder. Printed in grey PETG.

Laundry basket mount
We were looking for a solution for our laundry to pre sort it before washing. So we founds small silver baskets to hang on the wall. They came with a mount to be glued to the wall which obviously didn’t hold the heavy clothes. So I designed a custom mount to be screwed into the wall.

Docking station Air Pod Pro
We bought a docking station for our phones, apple watch and air pods. Phones and apple watch were fitting just fine but for the air pods only the cable was supposed to be sticking out which didn’t look right. I designed a mount for the cable to keep it in place and give the case of the air pods a place to be placed. The mount is attached to the docking station via two screws. Printed in white PLA.

Amplifier mount
For my desktop speakers I use a small 2.1 amplifier. To place under the desnk I designed a mount for it. Now it’s underneath the desk and still easily accessible for me. Printed in grey PLA.

Cutting board grip
We received a cutting board as a present one day with a broken grip. Which I figured was the ideal use case for a 3D printed part – a replacement can’t be bought and is easy to print. It took me a few tries to get the shape correct, but now it looks great. Printed in grey PLA.
